Great place to stay and eat
I really can't say enough good things about this place and the owners! :) the owners and staff are very friendly. The cabins are super cozy, clean, and the beds are comfy! The screened in porch on the cabins is a really neat thing too. The restaraunt on site, Piddle's Place is AMAZING! It's my favorite place to get a burger! (Although all of their food is delicious if you aren't in the mood for a burger!) The breakfast they are now serving is yummy too! You will truly feel pampered when you stay here. :) I've been here multiple times and every time is a great experience! Karaoke night is fun too! It also has very pretty scenery and is conveniently right across for the lake. Don't waste your time going anywhere else for your weekend getaway!
The new owners (The Dollins family) are WONDERFUL!!! We had lunch and dinner at their grill and loved every single bite! The cabin was so quaint and cozy, the scenery is great and the screened in porch just topped everything off to perfection. We'll definitely be back!
We talked to the owners three weeks prior to arriving as well as two days before. She told us to come on out, we came from Illinois. We arrived today and she basically told us to leave that we weren't welcome and gave us no reason, after her husband took us to choose a lot. She turned away a family that consisted of a disabled veteran, a 7 month along pregnant woman, and a 4 year old child. So, we would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone. Extremely disappointed.
This place is amazing. The staff is caring and the grounds are phenomenal. The cabins are very cozy and well kept. The restaurant that is on the ground is great! The food is all fresh, and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend staying here!
