There are no public restrooms here due to vandalism so you have to leave the premises to go use the restroom

Beautiful historic park with parking area, walking trails, pavilion, restroom, and play ground with slide and climbing areas.

Interesting and beautiful, but you can't take any pictures and there isn't nearly as much information about things as I would have liked.

I went in 2007. My greatgreat grandmother and greatgreat grandfather, Flora Murrell and George Murrell were slaves at this plantation. Some of my family( Ross) are buried in this cemetery. It was a great but sad learning experience for me , but my Mother , now deceased ,was very excited to learn this part of our history. Someday, I will revisit this place .

Love the park. Great for walking and jogging. Not crowded. Open area for picnics
